Examination Fees

• You cannot have a cosmetic consultation on the same day as insurance-covered care (first or return visit), but you can receive a treatment booked in advance.
• If, during insurance-covered care, we also propose a self-pay treatment for a condition that also has an insurance-covered treatment, we do not separately charge a self-pay examination fee.

• When repeating the same treatment, you can book without a prior examination. Examples: Mesona-J, or irradiating spots with the spot-removal laser in areas not treated last time.

Cosmetic Counseling Options

• The Women’s Hair Loss Follow-Up Test covers up to 2 items as needed. Adding one item costs an extra 1,100 yen.
• The Women’s Hair Loss Follow-Up Test is a test intended to confirm the treatment effect for those who are continuing supplement treatment at our clinic. Those using only over-the-counter supplements are not eligible.

Cancellation Fees, etc.

• A cancellation fee will be charged in the case of a same-day cancellation, a same-day change of booking, or when you are late due to your own circumstances and we cannot offer the desired treatment.
• If you are more than 10 minutes late due to your own circumstances but we are able to adjust the booking slot and offer the treatment, a late-arrival handling fee will be charged. Please understand this in advance.

*If the doctor cannot approve the treatment due to your skin condition on the day, no cancellation fee is charged.

Other

• For insurance-covered care, those who need to remove facial makeup before the examination will be provided with a hairband, a disposable towel, makeup remover, and toner, and guided to the powder room. You may also apply makeup before leaving.

• Even for those enrolled in Japanese health insurance, a fee will be charged if communication in Japanese is not possible at all and the examination is conducted entirely in English.

• In an examination for those who can speak neither Japanese nor English, if the conversation is carried out through an interpreter, it takes more time than usual, so a fee will be charged. The same applies when a translation app is used.

• Those who do not hold permanent residency in Japan may be asked to pay a deposit in cash in advance. In some cases, we may ask for full payment of the treatment cost in advance.
