Examination Fees

• Cosmetic consultations cannot be provided on the same day as insurance-covered examinations (initial or follow-up), but treatments reserved in advance can still be performed.
• If, during an insurance-covered examination, we also propose a self-pay treatment option for a condition that has an insurance-covered treatment available, we will not separately charge a self-pay consultation fee.

• If you are repeating the same treatment, you can make a reservation without a prior examination. Example: Mesona-J, or laser treatment for pigmentation in areas not treated during the previous session.

Cosmetic Consultation Options

• The female hair loss follow-up test is limited to up to 2 items as needed. Adding one additional item costs an extra 1,100 yen.
• The female hair loss follow-up test is intended to confirm treatment effectiveness for patients continuing supplement-based treatment at our clinic. Patients using only over-the-counter supplements are not eligible.

Cancellation Fees, etc.

• A cancellation fee will be charged in cases of same-day cancellations, same-day changes to reservations, or when a patient’s requested treatment cannot be provided due to lateness on the patient’s part.
• If a patient arrives more than 10 minutes late due to their own circumstances but treatment can still be provided by adjusting the appointment schedule, a late arrival handling fee will be charged. Thank you for your understanding in advance.

*If the physician is unable to approve treatment due to the patient’s skin condition on the day, no cancellation fee will be charged.

Other

• For patients undergoing insurance-covered examinations who need to remove facial makeup before the examination, we provide a headband, disposable towel, makeup remover, and lotion, and will guide you to the powder room. You may also reapply makeup before leaving.

• For patients enrolled in Japanese health insurance who are unable to communicate in Japanese at all and require the consultation to be conducted entirely in English, a fee will be charged.

• When an examination requires conversation through an interpreter for a patient who speaks neither Japanese nor English, additional time is required compared to a normal consultation, so a fee will be charged. The same applies when a translation app is used.

• Patients who do not hold Japanese permanent residency may be asked to pay a cash deposit in advance. In some cases, we may request full payment of the treatment cost in advance.

Example: When removing three moles measuring 2mm, 3mm, and 4mm, the total is 3 lesions and 9mm, so the fee is 1,100 × 3 + 2,200 × 9 = 23,100 yen.

• For botulinum toxin injections, we will remove makeup with a simple wipe.
  However, since this procedure involves needles, there is a small possibility of issues such as transdermal sensitization caused by residual cosmetic products on the skin. If this is a concern, please let our reception staff know so that you can remove your makeup beforehand.
