Consultation Fees

• Cosmetic consultations cannot be provided on the same day as an insurance-covered visit (first or follow-up), but you may receive a treatment that was booked in advance.
• If, during an insurance-covered visit, we also propose a self-pay treatment for a condition that also has insurance-covered treatment options, we will not charge a separate self-pay consultation fee.

• For repeated identical treatments, you may book without a prior consultation. Example: Mesona-J, or spot-removal laser applied to areas not treated at the previous visit.

Cosmetic counseling options

• The female hair loss follow-up test covers up to two items as needed. Adding one item costs an additional 1,100 yen.
• The female hair loss follow-up test is intended to confirm treatment efficacy for patients continuing supplement-based treatment at our clinic. It is not available to those using only over-the-counter supplements.

Cancellation fees, etc.

• A cancellation fee will apply if you cancel on the day, change your appointment on the day, or arrive late for personal reasons such that the desired treatment cannot be provided.
• If you arrive 10 or more minutes late for personal reasons but we can still provide the treatment by adjusting the booking schedule, a late arrival handling fee will apply. Please understand this in advance.

*No cancellation fee applies if the doctor is unable to approve the treatment due to your skin condition on the day.

Other

• For insurance-covered visits, if you need to remove your facial makeup before the examination, we will provide a hairband, disposable towel, makeup remover, and toner and show you to the powder room. You may also reapply your makeup before leaving.

• Even for those enrolled in Japanese health insurance, a fee will be charged if communication in Japanese is not possible at all and the consultation must be conducted entirely in English.

• For patients who speak neither Japanese nor English and require an interpreter during the consultation, more time is needed, so a fee will be charged. The same applies when a translation app is used.

• Those who do not hold Japanese permanent residency may be asked to pay a cash deposit in advance. In some cases, we may ask for full prepayment of the treatment cost.
